Where I’ve Been Spending My Energy
For the past few years, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes to give hands-on support to regenerative village projects. I help them clarify their vision, choose the right land, recruit aligned members, and design financial + governance structures that actually work in the real world.
Consulting villages has been energizing, but also very private.
My consulting work has historically come through direct referrals and projects approaching me for support. I've been too buried in it all to share this side of my work publicly, even though it’s some of the most impactful work I do.
However, it’s been a joy to translate these village lessons here on the Terrenity publication since January 2024, and the publication continues to receiving glowing response.
Truth is, village builders need more support than blog posts and free resources can provide.
Each project is unique—shaped by its land, people, culture, and local regulations. And the early decisions you make (ownership, governance, funding, development sequence) can make or break your village.

About Terrenity
I founded Terrenity when my interest in ecovillages turned into my career. I’ve been writing, researching, and consulting ecovillages and intentional communities for 7.5 years. I’ve advised 17+ ecovillage projects across Costa Rica, Mexico, Italy, Guyana, Dominican Republic, Thailand, Germany, and the U.S., helping them avoid critical mistakes and go from losing money to thriving.
I just finished serving as Communications Director for the Global Ecovillage Network, helping connect a global movement of ecovillage and intaking all requests for their community consulting.

Project: Offgrid ecovillage in Mexico
Outcomes:
Designed and implemented operating systems for better shared labor, finance, and hospitality systems
Strategized plan for expansion and land tokenization
Advised construction strategy for eco-housing projects
Led mini docuseries to promote the village



Project: A 16-floor building in San Francisco building a “vertical village” for frontier technologies
Outcomes:
Directed community marketing to recruit members for a 6-week pop-up
Helped produce 3 summits in 6 weeks and convert participants to join the community
Developed bespoke graphics and marketing materials for the community and its events
